A Psalm of David
אֵ֘לֶ֤יךָ
To You
יְהוָ֨ה ׀
Yahweh
אֶקְרָ֗א
I will cry
צוּרִי֮
my Rock
אַֽל־
not
תֶּחֱרַ֪שׁ
do be silent
מִ֫מֶּ֥נִּי
to me
פֶּן־
lest if
תֶּֽחֱשֶׁ֥ה
You [are] silent
מִמֶּ֑נִּי
to me
וְ֝נִמְשַׁ֗לְתִּי
and I become
עִם־
like
י֥וֹרְדֵי
those who go down
בֽוֹר׃
to the pit

שְׁמַ֤ע
Hear
ק֣וֹל
the voice
תַּ֭חֲנוּנַי
of my supplications
בְּשַׁוְּעִ֣י
when I cry
אֵלֶ֑יךָ
to You
בְּנָשְׂאִ֥י
when I lift up
יָ֝דַ֗י
my hands
אֶל־
toward
דְּבִ֥יר
sanctuary
קָדְשֶֽׁךָ׃
Your holy

אַל־
Not
תִּמְשְׁכֵ֣נִי
do take me away
עִם־
with
רְשָׁעִים֮
the wicked
וְעִם־
and with
פֹּ֪עֲלֵ֫י
the workers
אָ֥וֶן
of iniquity
דֹּבְרֵ֣י
who speak
שָׁ֭לוֹם
peace
עִם־
to
רֵֽעֵיהֶ֑ם
their neighbors
וְ֝רָעָ֗ה
but evil [is]
בִּלְבָבָֽם׃
in their hearts

תֶּן־
Give
לָהֶ֣ם
them
כְּפָעֳלָם֮
according to their deeds
וּכְרֹ֪עַ
and according to the wickedness
מַֽעַלְלֵ֫יהֶ֥ם
of their endeavors
כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה
according to the work
יְ֭דֵיהֶם
of their hands
תֵּ֣ן
Give
לָהֶ֑ם
them
הָשֵׁ֖ב
Render
גְּמוּלָ֣ם
what they deserve
לָהֶֽם׃
to them

כִּ֤י
Because
לֹ֤א
not
יָבִ֡ינוּ
they do regard
אֶל־
unto
פְּעֻלֹּ֣ת
the works
יְ֭הוָה
of Yahweh
וְאֶל־
nor
מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה
the operation
יָדָ֑יו
of His hands
יֶ֝הֶרְסֵ֗ם
He shall destroy them
וְלֹ֣א
and not
יִבְנֵֽם׃
build them up

בָּר֥וּךְ
Blessed [be]
יְהוָ֑ה
Yahweh
כִּי־
because
שָׁ֝מַע
He has heard
ק֣וֹל
the voice
תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃
of my supplications
7
יְהוָ֤ה ׀
Yahweh [is]
עֻזִּ֥י
my strength
וּמָגִנִּי֮
and my shield
בּ֤וֹ
in Him
בָטַ֥ח
trusted
לִבִּ֗י
My heart
וְֽנֶ֫עֱזָ֥רְתִּי
and I am helped
וַיַּעֲלֹ֥ז
therefore greatly rejoices
לִבִּ֑י
my heart
וּֽמִשִּׁירִ֥י
and with my song
אֲהוֹדֶֽנּוּ׃
I will praise Him

יְהוָ֥ה
Yahweh [is]
עֹֽז־
strength
לָ֑מוֹ
their
וּמָ֘ע֤וֹז
and the refuge
יְשׁוּע֖וֹת
of saving
מְשִׁיח֣וֹ
His anointed
הֽוּא׃
He [is]

הוֹשִׁ֤יעָה ׀
Save
אֶת־
-
עַמֶּ֗ךָ
Your people
וּבָרֵ֥ךְ
and bless
אֶת־
-
נַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ
Your inheritance
וּֽרְעֵ֥ם
and Shepherd them
וְ֝נַשְּׂאֵ֗ם
and bear them up
עַד־
even to
הָעוֹלָֽם׃
forever
