וְאַתָּ֤ה

אֱלֹהִ֥ים ׀

צְבָא֡וֹת
of hosts
אֱלֹ֘הֵ֤י

יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל
of Israel
הָקִ֗יצָה

לִפְקֹ֥ד
to punish
כָּֽל־
all
הַגּוֹיִ֑ם
the nations
אַל־

תָּחֹ֨ן

בֹּ֖גְדֵי
transgressors
אָ֣וֶן

יָשׁ֣וּבוּ

יֶהֱמ֥וּ

כַכָּ֗לֶב
like a dog
וִיס֥וֹבְבוּ

הִנֵּ֤ה ׀

בְּפִיהֶ֗ם
with their mouth
חֲ֭רָבוֹת

בְּשִׂפְתוֹתֵיהֶ֑ם
in their lips
כִּי־

וְאַתָּ֣ה
but You
יְ֭הוָה
Yahweh
תִּשְׂחַק־
shall laugh
לָ֑מוֹ
at them
תִּ֝לְעַ֗ג
You shall have in derision
לְכָל־
all
גּוֹיִֽם׃
the nations
9
עֻ֭זּוֹ
[O You] his Strength
אֵלֶ֣יךָ
for You
אֶשְׁמֹ֑רָה
I will wait
כִּֽי־
for
אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים
God [is]
מִשְׂגַּבִּֽי׃
my defense

אֱלֹהֵ֣י
God
[חסדו]
of His mercy
(חַסְדִּ֣י)
of My mercy
יְקַדְּמֵ֑נִי
shall come to meet me
אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים
God
יַרְאֵ֥נִי
shall let me see [my desire]
בְשֹׁרְרָֽי׃
on my enemies

תַּהַרְגֵ֤ם ׀
do slay them
פֶּֽן־
lest
יִשְׁכְּח֬וּ
forget
עַמִּ֗י
my people
הֲנִיעֵ֣מוֹ
Scatter them
בְ֭חֵילְךָ
by Your power
וְהוֹרִידֵ֑מוֹ
and bring them down
מָֽגִנֵּ֣נוּ
our shield
אֲדֹנָֽי׃

חַטַּאת־
[For] the sin
פִּ֗ימוֹ
of their mouth
דְּֽבַר־
[and] the words
שְׂפָ֫תֵ֥ימוֹ
of their lips
וְיִלָּכְד֥וּ
and let them even be taken
בִגְאוֹנָ֑ם
in their pride
וּמֵאָלָ֖ה
and for the oath
וּמִכַּ֣חַשׁ
and lying
יְסַפֵּֽרוּ׃

הֵ֭מָּה
