סַלְעִ֣י
my rock
וּמְצוּדָתִ֣י
and my fortress
אָ֑תָּה
You [are]
וּלְמַ֥עַן
therefore for sake
שִׁ֝מְךָ֗
of Your name
תַּֽנְחֵ֥נִי
Lead me
וּֽתְנַהֲלֵֽנִי׃
and guide me

תּוֹצִיאֵ֗נִי
Pull me
מֵרֶ֣שֶׁת
out of the net
ז֭וּ
which
טָ֣מְנוּ

my strength

שָׂנֵ֗אתִי
I have hated
הַשֹּׁמְרִ֥ים
those who regard
הַבְלֵי־
idols
שָׁ֑וְא
useless
וַ֝אֲנִ֗י
but I
אֶל־
in
יְהוָ֥ה
Yahweh
בָּטָֽחְתִּי׃
trust

אָגִ֥ילָה
I will be glad
וְאֶשְׂמְחָ֗ה
and rejoice
בְּחַ֫סְדֶּ֥ךָ
in Your mercy
אֲשֶׁ֣ר
for
רָ֭אִיתָ
You have considered
אֶת־
-
עָנְיִ֑י
my trouble
יָ֝דַ֗עְתָּ
You have known
בְּצָר֥וֹת
in adversities
נַפְשִֽׁי׃
my soul

וְלֹ֣א
And not
הִ֭סְגַּרְתַּנִי
have shut me up
בְּיַד־
into the hand
אוֹיֵ֑ב
of the enemy
הֶֽעֱמַ֖דְתָּ
You have set
בַמֶּרְחָ֣ב
in a wide place
רַגְלָֽי׃
my feet

חָנֵּ֥נִי
Have mercy on me
יְהוָה֮
Yahweh
כִּ֤י

צַ֫ר־
in trouble
לִ֥י
I am
עָשְׁשָׁ֖ה
wastes away
בְכַ֥עַס
with grief
עֵינִ֗י
My eye
נַפְשִׁ֥י

וּבִטְנִֽי׃
and my body

כִּ֤י

כָל֪וּ
is spent
בְיָג֡וֹן
with grief
חַיַּי֮
my life
וּשְׁנוֹתַ֪י
and my years
בַּאֲנָ֫חָ֥ה
with sighing
כָּשַׁ֣ל
fails
בַּעֲוֺנִ֣י
because of my iniquity
כֹחִ֑י
My strength
וַעֲצָמַ֥י
and my bones
עָשֵֽׁשׁוּ׃
waste away

מִכָּל־
Among all
צֹרְרַ֨י
my enemies
הָיִ֪יתִי
I am
חֶרְפָּ֡ה
a reproach
וְלִשֲׁכֵנַ֨י ׀
but among my neighbors
מְאֹד֮
especially
וּפַ֪חַד
and [am] repulsive
לִֽמְיֻדָּ֫עָ֥י
to my acquaintances
רֹאַ֥י
Those who see me
בַּח֑וּץ
outside
נָדְד֥וּ
flee
מִמֶּֽנִּי׃
from me

נִ֭שְׁכַּחְתִּי
I am forgotten
כְּמֵ֣ת
like a dead man
מִלֵּ֑ב
out of mind
הָ֝יִ֗יתִי
I am
כִּכְלִ֥י
like a vessel
אֹבֵֽד׃
broken

כִּ֤י
For
שָׁמַ֨עְתִּי ׀
I hear
דִּבַּ֥ת
the slander
רַבִּים֮
of many
מָג֪וֹר
fear [is]
מִסָּ֫בִ֥יב
on every side
בְּהִוָּסְדָ֣ם
while they take counsel
יַ֣חַד
together
עָלַ֑י
against me
לָקַ֖חַת
to take away
נַפְשִׁ֣י
my life
זָמָֽמוּ׃
they scheme

וַאֲנִ֤י ׀
But I
עָלֶ֣יךָ
in You
בָטַ֣חְתִּי
I trust
יְהוָ֑ה
Yahweh
אָ֝מַ֗רְתִּי
say
אֱלֹהַ֥י
my God
אָֽתָּה׃
You [are]

בְּיָדְךָ֥
In Your hand
עִתֹּתָ֑י
My times [are]
הַצִּ֘ילֵ֤נִי
Deliver me
מִיַּד־
from the hand
א֝וֹיְבַ֗י
of my enemies
וּמֵרֹדְפָֽי׃
and from those who persecute me

הָאִ֣ירָה
Shine
פָ֭נֶיךָ
Make Your face
עַל־
upon
עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ
Your servant
ה֖וֹשִׁיעֵ֣נִי
Save me
בְחַסְדֶּֽךָ׃
for Your mercies' sake

Yahweh
אַל־

אֵ֭בוֹשָׁה
do let me be ashamed
כִּ֣י
for
קְרָאתִ֑יךָ
I have called upon You
יֵבֹ֥שׁוּ
let be ashamed
רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים
the wicked
יִדְּמ֥וּ
let them be silent
לִשְׁאֽוֹל׃
in the grave

תֵּ֥אָלַ֗מְנָה
Let be put to silence
שִׂפְתֵ֫י
the lips
שָׁ֥קֶר
lying
הַדֹּבְר֖וֹת
which speak
עַל־
against
צַדִּ֥יק
the righteous
עָתָ֗ק
Insolent things
בְּגַאֲוָ֥ה
proudly
וָבֽוּז׃
and contemptuously

Oh how
רַֽב־
great [is]
טוּבְךָ֮
Your goodness
אֲשֶׁר־
which
צָפַ֪נְתָּ
You have laid up
לִּֽירֵ֫אֶ֥יךָ
for those who fear You
פָּ֭עַלְתָּ
[Which] You have prepared
לַחֹסִ֣ים
for those who trust
בָּ֑ךְ
in You
נֶ֝֗גֶד
in the presence
בְּנֵ֣י
of the sons
אָדָם׃
of men

תַּסְתִּירֵ֤ם ׀
You shall hide them
בְּסֵ֥תֶר
in the secret place
פָּנֶיךָ֮
of Your presence
מֵֽרֻכְסֵ֫י
from the plots
אִ֥ישׁ
of man
תִּצְפְּנֵ֥ם
You shall keep them secretly
בְּסֻכָּ֗ה
in a pavilion
מֵרִ֥יב
from the strife
לְשֹׁנֽוֹת׃
of tongues

בָּר֥וּךְ
Blessed [be]
יְהוָ֑ה
Yahweh
כִּ֥י
for
הִפְלִ֘יא
He has shown marvelous
חַסְדּ֥וֹ
His kindness
לִ֝֗י
me
בְּעִ֣יר
in a city
מָצֽוֹר׃
strong

וַאֲנִ֤י ׀
For I
אָ֘מַ֤רְתִּי
said
בְחָפְזִ֗י
in my haste
נִגְרַזְתִּי֮
I am cut off
מִנֶּ֪גֶד
from before
עֵ֫ינֶ֥יךָ
Your eyes
אָכֵ֗ן
nevertheless
שָׁ֭מַעְתָּ
You heard
ק֥וֹל
the voice
תַּחֲנוּנַ֗י
of my supplications
בְּשַׁוְּעִ֥י
when I cried out
אֵלֶֽיךָ׃
to You

אֶֽהֱב֥וּ
Oh love
אֶת־

יְהוָ֗ה
Yahweh
כָּֽל־
all
חֲסִ֫ידָ֥יו
you His saints
אֱ֭מוּנִים
the faithful
נֹצֵ֣ר
[For] preserves
יְהוָ֑ה
Yahweh
וּמְשַׁלֵּ֥ם
and repays
עַל־
on
יֶ֝֗תֶר
fully
עֹשֵׂ֥ה
the person
גַאֲוָֽה׃
proud

חִ֭זְקוּ
Be of good courage
וְיַאֲמֵ֣ץ
and He shall strengthen
לְבַבְכֶ֑ם
your heart
כָּל־
all
הַ֝מְיַחֲלִ֗ים
you who hope
לַיהוָֽה׃
in Yahweh
