Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: Oh deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
2 כִּֽי־ for אַתָּ֤ה ׀ You אֱלֹהֵ֣י are–God–of מָֽעוּזִּי֮ my–refuge לָמָ֪ה why זְנַ֫חְתָּ֥נִי have–You–rejected–me לָֽמָּה־ why קֹדֵ֥ר in–mourning אֶתְהַלֵּ֗ךְ do–I–walk בְּלַ֣חַץ because–of–oppression–of אוֹיֵֽב׃ the–enemy
For thou art the God of my strength; why hast thou cast me off? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
3 שְׁלַח־ send–out אוֹרְךָ֣ Your–light וַ֭אֲמִתְּךָ and–Your–truth הֵ֣מָּה they יַנְח֑וּנִי will–lead–me יְבִיא֥וּנִי will–bring–me אֶל־ to הַֽר־ mountain–of קָ֝דְשְׁךָ֗ Your–holiness וְאֶל־ and–to מִשְׁכְּנוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ Your–dwelling–places
Oh send out thy light and thy truth; let them lead me: Let them bring me unto thy holy hill, And to thy tabernacles.
4 וְאָב֤וֹאָה ׀ and–I–will–come אֶל־ to מִזְבַּ֬ח altar–of אֱלֹהִ֗ים God אֶל־ to אֵל֮ God שִׂמְחַ֪ת joy–of גִּ֫ילִ֥י my–gladness וְאוֹדְךָ֥ and–I–will–praise–You בְכִנּ֗וֹר with–the–lyre אֱלֹהִ֥ים O–God אֱלֹהָֽי׃ my–God
Then will I go unto the altar of God, Unto God my exceeding joy; And upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God.
5 מַה־ why תִּשְׁתּ֬וֹחֲחִ֨י ׀ are–you–cast–down נַפְשִׁי֮ my–soul וּֽמַה־ and–why תֶּהֱמִ֪י are–you–in–turmoil עָ֫לָ֥י within–me הוֹחִ֣ילִי hope לֵֽ֭אלֹהִים in–God כִּי־ for ע֣וֹד again אוֹדֶ֑נּוּ I–will–praise–Him יְשׁוּעֹ֥ת salvations–of פָּ֝נַ֗י my–face וֵֽאלֹהָֽי׃ and–my–God
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, Who isthe help of my countenance, and my God.
