הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ

צִ֭יּוֹן
Zion
יַרְכְּתֵ֣י
[on] the sides
צָפ֑וֹן
of the north
קִ֝רְיַ֗ת
the city
מֶ֣לֶךְ
of the King
רָֽב׃

אֱלֹהִ֥ים
God [is]
בְּאַרְמְנוֹתֶ֗יהָ
in her palaces
נוֹדַ֥ע
He is known
לְמִשְׂגָּֽב׃
as her refuge

כִּֽי־

הִנֵּ֣ה
behold
הַ֭מְּלָכִים
the kings
נֽוֹעֲד֑וּ
assembled
עָבְר֥וּ
they passed by
יַחְדָּֽו׃
together

הֵ֣מָּה
They
רָ֭אוּ
saw [it]
כֵּ֣ן
[and] so
תָּמָ֑הוּ
they marveled
נִבְהֲל֥וּ
they were troubled
נֶחְפָּֽזוּ׃
they hastened away

רְ֭עָדָה
Fear
אֲחָזָ֣תַם
took hold of them
שָׁ֑ם
there
חִ֝֗יל
[And] pain
כַּיּוֹלֵֽדָה׃
as of a woman in birth pangs

בְּר֥וּחַ
With an wind
קָדִ֑ים
East
תְּ֝שַׁבֵּ֗ר
[As when] You break
אֳנִיּ֥וֹת
the ships
תַּרְשִֽׁישׁ׃
of Tarshish
8
כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר
As
שָׁמַ֨עְנוּ ׀
we have heard
כֵּ֤ן
so
רָאִ֗ינוּ
we have seen
בְּעִיר־
in the city
יְהוָ֣ה
of Yahweh
צְ֭בָאוֹת
of hosts
בְּעִ֣יר
in the city
אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ
of our God
אֱלֹ֘הִ֤ים
God
יְכוֹנְנֶ֖הָ
will establish it
עַד־
it for
עוֹלָ֣ם
ever
סֶֽלָה׃
Selah

דִּמִּ֣ינוּ
We have thought
אֱלֹהִ֣ים
God
חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ
on Your lovingkindness
בְּ֝קֶ֗רֶב
in the midst
הֵיכָלֶֽךָ׃
of Your temple

כְּשִׁמְךָ֤
According to Your name
אֱלֹהִ֗ים
God
כֵּ֣ן
so
תְּ֭הִלָּתְךָ
[is] Your praise
עַל־
to
קַצְוֵי־
the ends
אֶ֑רֶץ
of the earth
צֶ֝֗דֶק
righteousness
מָלְאָ֥ה
is full
יְמִינֶֽךָ׃
of Your right hand

יִשְׂמַ֤ח ׀
Let rejoice
הַר־
Mount
צִיּ֗וֹן
Zion
תָּ֭גֵלְנָה
let be glad
בְּנ֣וֹת
the daughters
יְהוּדָ֑ה
of Judah
לְ֝מַ֗עַן
because
מִשְׁפָּטֶֽיךָ׃
of Your judgments

סֹ֣בּוּ
Walk about
צִ֭יּוֹן
Zion
וְהַקִּיפ֑וּהָ
and go all around her
סִ֝פְר֗וּ
Count
מִגְדָּלֶֽיהָ׃
her towers

שִׁ֤יתוּ
Mark well
לִבְּכֶ֨ם ׀
well her
לְֽחֵילָ֗ה
her bulwarks
פַּסְּג֥וּ
Consider
אַרְמְנוֹתֶ֑יהָ
her palaces
לְמַ֥עַן
that
תְּ֝סַפְּר֗וּ
you may tell [it]
לְד֣וֹר
to the generation
אַחֲרֽוֹן׃
following

כִּ֤י
For
זֶ֨ה ׀
this [is]
אֱלֹהִ֣ים
God
אֱ֭לֹהֵינוּ
Our God
עוֹלָ֣ם
forever
וָעֶ֑ד
and ever
ה֖וּא
He
יְנַהֲגֵ֣נוּ
will be our guide
עַל־
[Even] to
מֽוּת׃
