in mire

מָעֳמָ֑ד
standing
בָּ֥אתִי
I have come
בְמַעֲמַקֵּי־
into deep
מַ֝֗יִם
waters
וְשִׁבֹּ֥לֶת
and where the floods
שְׁטָפָֽתְנִי׃
overflow me

יָגַ֣עְתִּי
I am weary
בְקָרְאִי֮
with my crying
נִחַ֪ר
is dry
גְּר֫וֹנִ֥י
My throat
כָּל֥וּ
fail
עֵינַ֑י
My eyes
מְ֝יַחֵ֗ל
while I wait
לֵאלֹהָֽי׃
for my God

רַבּ֤וּ ׀
Are more
מִשַּׂעֲר֣וֹת
than the hairs
רֹאשִׁי֮
of my head
שֹׂנְאַ֪י
Those who hate me
חִ֫נָּ֥ם
without a cause
עָצְמ֣וּ
they are mighty
מַ֭צְמִיתַי
who would destroy me
אֹיְבַ֣י

מִמְּךָ֥
from You
לֹא־

נִכְחָֽדוּ׃
are hidden

אַל־

יֵ֘בֹ֤שׁוּ
let be made ashamed
בִ֨י ׀
by me
קֹוֶיךָ֮
those who wait for You
אֲדֹנָ֥י
Lord
יְהוִ֗ה
GOD
צְבָ֫א֥וֹת
of hosts
אַל־
not
יִכָּ֣לְמוּ
let be confounded
בִ֣י
because of me
מְבַקְשֶׁ֑יךָ
those who seek You
אֱ֝לֹהֵ֗י
God
יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
of Israel

כִּֽי־
Because
עָ֭לֶיךָ
for Your sake
נָשָׂ֣אתִי
I have borne
חֶרְפָּ֑ה
reproach
כִּסְּתָ֖ה
has covered
כְלִמָּ֣ה
Shame
פָנָֽי׃
my face

מ֭וּזָר
A stranger
הָיִ֣יתִי
I have become
לְאֶחָ֑י
to my brothers
וְ֝נָכְרִ֗י
and a sojourner
לִבְנֵ֥י
to children
אִמִּֽי׃
of my mother

כִּֽי־
Because
קִנְאַ֣ת
zeal for
בֵּיתְךָ֣
Your house
אֲכָלָ֑תְנִי
has eaten me up
וְחֶרְפּ֥וֹת
and the reproaches
ח֝וֹרְפֶ֗יךָ
of those who reproach You
נָפְל֥וּ
have fallen
עָלָֽי׃
on me

וָאֶבְכֶּ֣ה
And when I wept [and chastened]
בַצּ֣וֹם
with fasting
נַפְשִׁ֑י
my soul
וַתְּהִ֖י
that became
לַחֲרָפ֣וֹת
reproach
לִֽי׃
my

וָאֶתְּנָ֣ה
And I made
לְבוּשִׁ֣י
my garment
שָׂ֑ק
sackcloth
וָאֱהִ֖י
and I became
לָהֶ֣ם
to them
לְמָשָֽׁל׃
a byword
12
יָשִׂ֣יחוּ
Speak
בִ֭י
against me
יֹ֣שְׁבֵי
Those who sit
שָׁ֑עַר
in the gate
וּ֝נְגִינ֗וֹת
and I [am] the song
שׁוֹתֵ֥י
of
שֵׁכָֽר׃
the drunkards

וַאֲנִ֤י
But [as for] me
תְפִלָּתִֽי־
my prayer [is]
לְךָ֨ ׀
to You
יְהוָ֡ה
Yahweh
עֵ֤ת
[in] the time
רָצ֗וֹן
acceptable
אֱלֹהִ֥ים
God
בְּרָב־
in the multitude
חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ
of Your mercy
עֲ֝נֵ֗נִי
Hear me
בֶּאֱמֶ֥ת
in the truth
יִשְׁעֶֽךָ׃
of Your salvation

הַצִּילֵ֣נִי
Deliver me
מִ֭טִּיט
out of the mire
וְאַל־
and not
אֶטְבָּ֑עָה
let me sink
אִנָּצְלָ֥ה
let me be delivered
מִ֝שֹּֽׂנְאַ֗י
from those who hate me
וּמִמַּֽעֲמַקֵּי־
and out of deep
מָֽיִם׃
the waters

אַל־
Not
תִּשְׁטְפֵ֤נִי ׀
let overflow me
שִׁבֹּ֣לֶת
the flood
מַ֭יִם
the floodwater
וְאַל־
nor
תִּבְלָעֵ֣נִי
let swallow me up
מְצוּלָ֑ה
the deep
וְאַל־
and not
תֶּאְטַר־
let shut
עָלַ֖י
on me
בְּאֵ֣ר
the pit
פִּֽיהָ׃
its mouth

עֲנֵ֣נִי
Hear me
יְ֭הוָה
Yahweh
כִּי־
for
ט֣וֹב
good
חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ
Your lovingkindness [is]
כְּרֹ֥ב
according to the multitude
רַ֝חֲמֶ֗יךָ
of Your tender mercies
פְּנֵ֣ה
Turn
אֵלָֽי׃
to me

וְאַל־
And not
תַּסְתֵּ֣ר
do hide
פָּ֭נֶיךָ
Your face
מֵֽעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ
from Your servant
כִּֽי־

צַר־

לִ֝֗י

מַהֵ֥ר
speedily
עֲנֵֽנִי׃

קָרְבָ֣ה
Draw near
אֶל־

נַפְשִׁ֣י
my soul
גְאָלָ֑הּ

לְמַ֖עַן

אֹיְבַ֣י
of my enemies
פְּדֵֽנִי׃

אַתָּ֤ה

יָדַ֗עְתָּ
know
חֶרְפָּתִ֣י
my reproach
וּ֭בָשְׁתִּי
and my shame
וּכְלִמָּתִ֑י
and my dishonor
נֶ֝גְדְּךָ֗
before You
כָּל־
all
צוֹרְרָֽי׃
My adversaries [are]

חֶרְפָּ֤ה ׀
Reproach
שָֽׁבְרָ֥ה

לִבִּ֗י
my heart
וָֽאָ֫נ֥וּשָׁה
and I am full of heaviness
וָאֲקַוֶּ֣ה
And I looked [for someone]
לָנ֣וּד
to take pity
וָאַ֑יִן
but [there was] none
וְ֝לַמְנַחֲמִ֗ים
and for comforters
וְלֹ֣א
but none
מָצָֽאתִי׃
I found

וַיִּתְּנ֣וּ
And they gave me
בְּבָרוּתִ֣י
for my food
רֹ֑אשׁ
gall
וְ֝לִצְמָאִ֗י
and for my thirst
יַשְׁק֥וּנִי
they gave me to drink
חֹֽמֶץ׃
vinegar

יְהִֽי־
Let become
שֻׁלְחָנָ֣ם
their table
לִפְנֵיהֶ֣ם
before them
לְפָ֑ח
a snare
וְלִשְׁלוֹמִ֥ים
and their well-being
לְמוֹקֵֽשׁ׃
a trap

תֶּחְשַׁ֣כְנָה
Let be darkened
עֵ֭ינֵיהֶם
their eyes
מֵרְא֑וֹת
so that they do not see
וּ֝מָתְנֵ֗יהֶם
and make their loins
תָּמִ֥יד

הַמְעַֽד׃

אַתָּ֣ה
You
אֲשֶׁר־

הִכִּ֣יתָ

רָדָ֑פוּ
they persecute
וְאֶל־

מַכְא֖וֹב
of the grief
חֲלָלֶ֣יךָ
of those You have wounded
יְסַפֵּֽרוּ׃

עֲוֺנָ֑ם
their iniquity
וְאַל־

יָ֝בֹ֗אוּ
let them come
בְּצִדְקָתֶֽךָ׃
into Your righteousness

יִ֭מָּחֽוּ
Let them be blotted
מִסֵּ֣פֶר
out of the book
חַיִּ֑ים
of the living
וְעִ֥ם
and with
צַ֝דִּיקִ֗ים
the righteous
אַל־
not
יִכָּתֵֽבוּ׃
be written

וַ֭אֲנִי
But I [am]
עָנִ֣י
poor
וְכוֹאֵ֑ב
and sorrowful
יְשׁוּעָתְךָ֖
Your salvation
אֱלֹהִ֣ים
God
תְּשַׂגְּבֵֽנִי׃
let set me up on high

אֲהַֽלְלָ֣ה
I will praise
שֵׁם־
the name
אֱלֹהִ֣ים
of God
בְּשִׁ֑יר
with a song
וַאֲגַדְּלֶ֥נּוּ
and will magnify Him
בְתוֹדָֽה׃
with thanksgiving

וְתִיטַ֣ב
And [This] shall please
לַֽ֭יהוָה
Yahweh
מִשּׁ֥וֹר
better than an ox
פָּ֗ר
[or] bull
מַקְרִ֥ן
which has horns
מַפְרִֽיס׃
and hooves

רָא֣וּ
Shall see [this]
עֲנָוִ֣ים
the humble
יִשְׂמָ֑חוּ
[and] be glad
דֹּרְשֵׁ֥י
you who seek
אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים
God
וִיחִ֥י
and shall live
לְבַבְכֶֽם׃
your hearts

כִּֽי־

שֹׁמֵ֣עַ
hears
אֶל־
unto
אֶבְיוֹנִ֣ים
the poor
יְהוָ֑ה
Yahweh
וְאֶת־

אֲ֝סִירָ֗יו
His prisoners
לֹ֣א
not
בָזָֽה׃
does despise

יְֽ֭הַלְלוּהוּ
Let praise Him
שָׁמַ֣יִם
heaven
וָאָ֑רֶץ
and earth
יַ֝מִּ֗ים
the seas
וְֽכָל־
and everything
רֹמֵ֥שׂ
that moves
בָּֽם׃
in them

כִּ֤י
For
אֱלֹהִ֨ים ׀
God
י֘וֹשִׁ֤יעַ
will save
צִיּ֗וֹן
Zion
וְ֭יִבְנֶה
and build
עָרֵ֣י
the cities
יְהוּדָ֑ה
of Judah
וְיָ֥שְׁבוּ
that they may dwell
שָׁ֝֗ם
there
וִירֵשֽׁוּהָ׃
and possess it
36
וְזֶ֣רַע
And the descendants
עֲ֭בָדָיו
of His servants
יִנְחָל֑וּהָ
shall inherit it
וְאֹהֲבֵ֥י
and those who love
שְׁ֝מ֗וֹ
His name
יִשְׁכְּנוּ־
shall dwell
בָֽהּ׃
in it
